Help me find domain name regitrar from India

I want to buy domain name at cheap rate from Indian registrar so that I can buy it with net banking.

Any recommendations?

You can buy domains from registrars which are of India like Register.com and Directi Internet

 

Try bigrock.in. They accept Indian Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Paypal, checks, Demand Drafts and Net Banking.

They have advertised via TV ads and offer all India toll free support number.

 

Bigrock looks good and also a branch of directi internet I guess.
nihanshah do you have any personal experience with bigrock?
why it is better than godaddy?
why different registrar have different price structure?
why registrar ask for higher prices for renewal?

No, I don't have experience with bigrock. But, I'm considering trying them out because of ongoing RBI-Paypal issues.

Note that their wehosting plans aren't that good. You can only host one domain per plan.

 

I suppose that the best way to find Indian Registrar is to do a search on 'Indian Registrars' via Google.
moreover, try to ask this on some Indian web hosting provider - hope this can be helpful.

 

Probably the best option, as much as I've heard, the prices are also ok.
