Help me find a basic template that has these features.

So I've had enough with my current template that I have been using. I'm looking at wordpress themes, but still thinking of going the same way with what I'm doing now.

I'm looking for a simple template that is similar to what is on my page now, see this link here: http://www.learn-how-to-weld.com/mig-welding.html

SO does anyone know of some FREE templates that have these requirements.

    1. w3c checked
    2. CSS
    3. HTML
    4. Must work properly in Firefox, IE, Safari, Chrome etc.
    5. Totally free, no hidden links or code etc.

I want get start fresh with something that is right from the word go. Clean code, fast loading etc.

The reason why I want a simple template design is that I am running Adsense. A simple theme is easier to navigate for people finding information and I think it might be a little bit better for Adsense.

Those big flash templates with the large header graphics and flash here and there are not what I want.

What is there that fits my requirements?

Yes there is a HUGE variety of designs to choose from, but.....

The ones with less code will load faster yes? And it it better to have your "content" and H1 tags closer to the top of the page when it is called.

How can I tell which templates are better in this SEO area?

1-4 yes, number 5 you have to be careful of. most places use clean code, but i have seen porn links get spammed, etc. the best thing to do is buy a template and join a template club if you really want to be safe.

also if you go to a template club, they usually have some free ones.

or you can check my sig and never have to buy a template again....lol
