Help me figure out how's tweeting what (new to Twitter)

    I am very new to Twitter, and therefore I do not completely understand who's tweeting what.

    You can search for specific words or phrases that people are tweeting and start following those people who you find interesting and/or are your field

    Here is basically how it works. It shows the persons name, then the username, then the tweet. So for example:

    John Smith @jsmith
    "Tweet goes here"

    This means I'm talking to a certain person:

    John Smith @jsmith
    @mrsmith I want steak for dinner
