Help me edit/improve website: $$$

I just had a website designed/coded in xhtml and some php i think, and it looks good, but there are some changes I would like to make. Also, there are some errors. I noticed that it does not look the same in IE and Safari, but fine on Firefox.
I would like to enhance my site a little bit, fill up some more space, and make it look more professional, maybe add some slight animation.

151.32 kB for the header image ?? a bit on the large size, also all that text in the graphics won't get indexed.

It "looks" nice but the code does not even have a meta description tag in the code

Anyone that can help improve the site for cheap, email/gtalk me @ . Sorry, we need this done fast. This website has taken us much much longer than expected, and with a lot of money lost please help me make my site better.

sorry, i carn't help you, i don't have the time available.

Just pointing out that it needs FAR MORE work doing on it than just a "quick clean up".

Your "why" page for example needs that scrolling text put as plain text (people don't wait an extra 30+ seconds on a page just waiting to see what text scrolls next).

Your front page header graphic needs redoing ~ too slow to download and no good search engine wise.

Unless you are going to pay for visitors to your site, it needs a lot of very basic seo work doing on the site, not just a quick job. Much of the front page needs redoing as far as i can see. Having link text as "here.." is pointless SEO wise.

Best thing is to go back to who designed it and ask them to do the job correctly. Otherwise you may get a better response in the services section of the buy trade sell sub forum.

 

if you need images to be indexed use alt tags n i suggest you reduce the image size

 

Please change the "width"... its more than 950px xD.. lol
