    Hello!

I'm about to finish my site about shoes and I'm thinking of signing it up for Adwords. However, I'm afraid that it's no worth investing in this PPC tool since my site is not that competitive compared to other shoes sites.

    Help me decide guys...

The best thing is to try. Assign a small budget and give it a run, then see. It's all about ROI.

Just buy a $50 adwords voucher on ebay - open up a new account and use the voucher. You can buy em for 1.50 or so. That way you can test the waters without really losing much $.

My acount t godaddy goes with a $25 Adword account. In case I will finally decide to use this after a month or so, will it still be there? Its expiration goes with the hosting right?

    Thanks guys...

Its definetely worth a try if you have a niche target I think, however be careful to set low maximums to start off. Start slowly to get some experience with how it works, play around with the costs per keywords etc.

    Thanks xenyo.

As of now I would check out the competition first before going into PPC, it may be too expensive to compete with established players unless I couldfind a niche or do a local campaign. I admit my business is something that spells a lot of competition.

Do you think this is a good idea?

    Hi epithet,

If you're new to PPC advertising, and not sure what type of results you'll get, you may want to consider learning with one of the "second tier" PPC search engines. They typically have a lower CPC, which may allow you to gain an increased ROI, as well as to learn the ropes of PPC advertising with a smaller investment. :)
