Help me decide the affiliate commission

So my front end product will be a $29.95 audio guide with a free one month trial to a 12-month continuity program (which is $19.95 per month after the trial period).

The niche is related to shyness/ dating/ social life. What would you say is a good commission for a quality affiliate to be motivated to promote my product?

PS: I will be using ClickBank so the top commission for the initial sale can only be 75%; but I can also offer a recurring commission for the monthly rebill.

    Thanks :)

try to find out similar programs in the cb marketplace. see how much others are offering. more commission u offer, more it will attract the affiliates.

lot of knowledgeable CB affiliates use gravity as a measure for selecting a program. you will be at a disadvantage at the beginning but you can bring the gravity up by offering good commission and doing a lot of promotion for the product.

If you know how much, on average, you will make from a member then you can calculate how much you can pay. Calculate how much you make from a sale and subtract your expenses, from your profits you can better calculate what you can pay affiliates.

60-75% for affiliate is good, below 50% isn't enough. This is rule I made for myself.

High commission may mean less money, but you'll find there's plenty more affiliates willing to sell for you. I would stick it at 75%. Don't forget to offer, for example, an ipod touch to the highest earning affiliate each month. Or maybe just a bonus $100 or something. It'll get some extra affiliates.

I would go with the recurring commission as being the most attractive.

Most affiliates independent of click bank usually give around 10-25% depending of course on what they make off the sales, but this is usually a good amount to get people interested in promoting your products. Of course the 25% is more attractive then the 10% but your product may be one people can tell will sell more often then another type, in which case a lower to lower 10% is usually very desirable.

I actually might be interested in affiliating this product on my website, can you link me to the product site so i can view it over.

60-70% seems like the best option for your product. You can add incentives as well. We affiliates love this idea!

I think you should not offer less than 75% as it is best in industry.
