Go to DMOZ, pick some main cateogories that you like and then pick some of the main sub categories that you like. The idea is to start with few categories and then add more as you get demand and fill the active areas of your directory. As for PR6 - you should expect this to potentially fall as you've obviously either found a previously used URL or have completely changed your website content. Best of luck.
