    I'm using DELL for the last 2 years.. and I don't have no problems sofar.. Go with Dell.

    Both the brands are good..the only factor which could help you decide on the right one would be the service support in your area....

    Check both the companies service center in your area and interact with them to know which one gives you more satisfaction.

    The Dell XPS is hard to beat ! Don't think u'd gone wrong there, but...

    the 17 is addicting....might wanna give it some thought !!

    I have been using two notebooks Sony Vaio for three years and I have no desire to change the brand. Maybe, I would like only Macbook Air.

    Ya even I have heard that they negotiate....
    Will surely place the order from the toll free number....




    Ya vinyl sticker idea is good too... I am a Designer myself...

    As for Macbook, I even considered that but the costing was on the higher side.... cause I don't want to go less than 15"

    Now the big thing!

    I totally forgot the warranty thing.
    I want 3 years warranty. I don't mind buying a care pack for it.
    But when i checked Studio XPS 3 yrs. warranty it added 12k to my cost... :(
    So Studio XPS would end up way too costly for me...

    So instead I looked at Studio 15. Yeah! it too has some color options... but I guess I will take the jet black one.. and get a vinyl sticker after some time... like Mike Ming designs... :D

    And made some custom changes....
    Below is my config.
