I need to choose a domain name for website related to freelancing/webmastering. I'll be posting there free photoshop, xhtml, css3, php tutorials and free downloads, such as code snippets and free graphics(icons, user interface parts, etc.). I am thinking about viptuts.net or viptuts.com domains, but I cannot choose between them. Maybe you could help me by suggesting another domain name? Thanks anyone for help.

Go with the flow! Even though you feel your area of activity has nothing to do with 'commerce' per say, it would pay to stick with an extension which gets recalled by default... in everybody's mind! Regards, RightMan

I was also told that .com domains rank higher and are more well known. People will remmeber it better and serach for it first
get the .com come and the country extension you are from if you think its the next tw itter, utube, google etc. grab all the extensions. but if its a smal project stick with .com
