Well I haven't done the building for like 5 years now. It shouldn't be that hard right? Just screw everything in and plug everything where it needs to go. And i'll follow instructions online?

Also would I need a soundcard or no?

May want to pay the local pc store $50 just to be sure if it has been 5 years. It is worth it to have it work and not sizzle

Well yea unless your motherboard has built in. You may want to upgrade anyway now that you mention it. You dont want to use the on board peripherals at all.

It depend on what do you want to do with your computer. If you want to play games and watching movies, get a good sound card (Creative is my recommendation) plus a full surround speakers.

If you not into this, most motherboard these day already come with built-in sound card which is already enough for most user.
