Put your ads between your content between the posts, not on the side bar. Dont do both as your site will look spammy to users and they wont click.
Its going to be trial and error with your placement because you have a 3 column layout. I agree with getting more ads inline with the content.
I don't have anything to say about the adsense but..... Yodaime is one of the best characters in Naruto. They need to have an Arch explaining his story. But Madara is by far the best
I think your problem is the black background. I've read reports of sites which have changed from black background to white background and seen increases of 75% in click throughs. Also read some eye mapping articles. The hot spots are on the left of the screen, yours are on the right. Look at some google adsense success stories such as askthebuilder.com
