    Hi,

I have maxed my server out this is the message i get when i log in -

This account has exceeded its data transfer allowance.

My site still works, so i am slightly confused.

What are the effects of this ?

What could i do ? Change hosting / get more space ?

    Thanks.

Check if you have to pay extra for each GB transfered over the allowance. This can be expensive

You better confirm your situation with your host. They might be billing you without you knowing. If you're planning to pay for the extra GBs for a long period of time, the best and most economical way is to find a new host with a better package (or upgrade if they do offer)

servers are in general not suspended for using alloted transfer but its billed something like .10 per GB. Better confirm it with your host.

Many hosts charge $1 per GB.

    That's cute.

Charge for overage, and make sure the customer can't get in to turn off the site or fix the code.

He said the site works, but the backend doesn't.

    Change to another host.
