HELP - Lost my site !!!

Hello,

My computer recently crashed and as a result I was unable to log into my hosting account and consequently as a result of inactivity they deleted my account.

My question is this - if I upload my site again , willl I need to start from scratch ie: gain all my backlinks ( I had a few thousand and PR1) again and resubmit my site to search engines. Or will I retain those backlinks and will my site still be indexed in google, yahoo etc?

whoaa.. that sucks..

if the domain name is the same, and the structure identical (i.e.; all the old links still work) then you should be right back where you were.
IF anything is significantly different, then it may not be a happy story.

 

What kind of host were you using? I am guessing it was a free service, so maybe you got what you paid for?

 

Change hosts.

 

yea, chaning hosts is a good idea. but damn, that's pretty bad. idk, always have something to backup ur site.

 

If they deleted it and say BAD bye to it. Get a new host.

 

Ive just uploaded my site using a new host...and it seems ive lost all my backlinks.

 

If it is the same domain name you should be ok because the se's will recognize your site.
