Help-Locked Out of Account!

    I got locked out of my Twitter account due to "suspicious activity" (I was trying to link my account to my phone) and can't get back in until I change my password. The real problem is that whenever I change my password (https://twitter.com/account/begin_password_reset), I am simply directed to my private account and still locked out of the main one (Since the email and phone number for these accounts are linked).

    I have tried everything and none of the general Twitter suggestions are working. I emailed Twitter support and was told that they have no way to verify that it's my account and therefore can't help. If you have any suggestions that might help me get my account back, I would really appreciate it. At this point I'm kind of desperate.
