HELP! Just bought domains and got odd email...

    ok, I just bought a few domains with Moniker a few days ago, and got this email that I have to verify what I just bought with them, is this normal? has this happened to you guys before? It says i have to attach my drivers licence to be verified? Sounds fishy to me...

    Yeah I definetly would not send them any information, including your drivers license... This sounds very sketchy

    But do you have to verify an account with a registrar at all? I thought it was sign up and be done with it, I should really change the email on the whois...

    I think, it would be best to call your registrar for that matter. Also, you need to be aware of their domain registration process. If you feel like the email is not legit then, contact them immediately. :)
