on www.pxgo.com/discuss it says to mmake my ad_naetwork_ads.txt firl writable. I made it 666, but the ads still don't show up and I still get that "must be writable" message.

Could my host be screwing things up by telling me it's chmoded but not really changing the permissions?

did you just update to the new version? I got that message when I forgot to change the name of the ad_network file in my code, and it was trying to call a version that was no longer there.

It must be new as I just installed it today.

    According to WS FTP:

    -rw-r--r-- Apr 22 09:56 ad_network_234.php
    -rw-rw-rw- Apr 22 09:56 ad_network_ads_234.txt

Your setup might need to full path to the .txt file... try hard coding the full file path to the file within the .php file.

I was going to take Shawns advice, but it works now and I'm not complaining. :)

Actually I had uploaded the wrong one, like number 225 or something from another forum and just renamed it. Then when I went into the code and saw it calling the 225 ads.txt I knew...
