Hi! I frequently get "message undeliverable" emails with my email as the original sender, but I have always assumed that my email address was simply being spoofed onto spam. The past 3 days however, I have gotten over 3000 "message undeliverable" emails each day, and my host has shut down my email each day as they say I have exceeded the number of relays allowed per day (5000). The thing is that the host does not count messages recieved towards the quota, only messages sent, so I am assuming that someone is using my server to send spam, as my sites and employees would not have sent 5000 emails in a 24 hours period. I am not sure how to check my server to tell if that is the case (it's a virtual dedicated with godaddy and it has cpanel). Below are the mail headers from one of the bounced emails, can someone tell me if it is actually being sent from my server (the same server geekface.com is hosted on): Received: from vs30e.wh2.ocn.ne.jp (60.43.129.3) by mail30i.wh2.ocn.ne.jp (RS ver 1.0.95vs) with SMTP id 0-0606786606 for <msweet@virus-scan.alps-inc.com>; Tue, 5 Aug 2008 23:30:06 +0900 (JST) Received: from pool-96-227-154-202.phlapa.east.verizon.net (96.227.154.202) by mail30d.wh2.ocn.ne.jp (RS ver 1.0.95vs) with SMTP id 5-0688726599 for <msweet@alps-inc.com>; Tue, 5 Aug 2008 23:30:03 +0900 (JST) Message-ID: <000901c8f707$077ec0a7$e935519c@wcchoj> From: "douglas sivakuma" <support@geekface.com> To: <msweet@alps-inc.com> Thanks so much for any help!
