Help installing analytics tracker on phpBB

I'm having problems getting a tracker on my phpBB forum. I tried adding it to the index page but the forum wouldn't load up. I then tried adding it to the "overall_footer.tpl" file in the template I'm using. It displays it on the page you look at (go to any page of my forum and view source and its there) but on my analytics page it says "Waiting for Data" which I think means its installed but isn't sending data?

Any idea where I can put the tracker?

That's correct. Put it on overall_header.tpl

As for the GA side, just wake for it to update itself. The data is going into their system. Wait for two days and you can see the graph been plot out...

So its just a matter of waiting for enough data to be transferred before google will change it to "Recieving data"?

Ah, seems like data is being transferred, the forum actually seems to be doing quite well hehe.
