Does your web hosting provider have fantastico becuase you could install it that way and it will be really easy. I imagine there is a read me txt file in there. Just double check every thing to see if you skip a step. Or just completely start over from scratch.
Have to installed Oscommerce directly. I guess the them came with sample data. Install that and create a databse. That will HelpÂ
