As for myself I've never had a blog before of even seen too many of them.

Regardless I have a plan of having 3 writers at least in the same blog basically Typing in what they would like in various general topics.

The only problem I'm having it it seems so unorganized with like 10 categories around, and everyone typing. It goes everywhere and on the front page sometimes its about SEO and other times goes to how to pick up chicks!!.

    How do they do it?

Not like mine is setup right?

Generally bloggers blog around a specific niche. This is better both for the search engines and retaining visitors.

I would definitely suggest creating 10 different blogs with 10 niche themes instead of having 1 blog with 10 different types of content niche. It is more targeted and easier to get loyal readers / subscribers this way and will also help you in terms of SEO.

I think its better if a blog stays focused, theres a particular blog that i like reading, its webmaster/business related and now the owner talks about personal life, issues, irrelevant things.

Its putting me and other regular readers off.

Not to appear rude towards the blog but i dont want to know about anything like that.

So to take on board how this affects your visitors may help you to understand the concept of blogging, well at least a little.

Makes sense for the most part, but I was thinking. Obviously there are a ton of people who have say an seo blog so when they do post in it everything related but its not uncommon for someone to consider a blog like a Journal writing about whatever they would like. Would this Journal blogging behavior be considered bad?

Having one blog for various categories is not a good thing to practice. instead of doing it in that way try to have various blogs for various categories. That will make your and people who are coming to the blog life easy. Because if you mix up the content of your blog it will not help you in having a potential readers. Try to focus on one particular category. Readers will love it.
