Hello All, I am going to start SEO now and working on a site. Here my dilemma is:- 1) What should I target first yahoo, MSN or google? 2) Easy Keywords or tuff Keywords? 3) If easy than now I need to put Title according keywords, Can I change that later according tuff keywords? Will it affact anyway? Is this right method? Should I do this? Please suggest me the right way by process. Please give me some real good examples threads so I can learn a bit more. Thanks
Give google the first preferance. Why go the easy way.Start of with the hard one's In future whenever u change the tiltes the SERP will drop. So be carefull while selecting them Cheers!!
1) You shouldn't target specific search engines. Google puts a lot of emphasis on links, but links will help you in any search engine, not just Google. 2) Keywords that are appropriate to your content 3) You can change your title to be anything you want. If you change your title too often though, how will a SE know what your page is about.
First think about your customers, age and country. add depend on your target customers. do some market research and see user behaviours .
First target google. I would suggest that your should not target very competitive keywords because that can cause sandbox effect on your site. Start with lesser competitive keywords and get good rank for them. Do good onpage optimization first and then go for link building. Google gives lot of weight to Backlinks and it can largely affect you ranking in SE. Do Directory submission to get oneway links. best of luck bro
1. Go natural in targetting, getting Google rankings can be first preference and yahoo and msn will follow. 2.mix easy with tuff keywords. In this way you will target easy as well as competitive keywords.Competitive kewords will come up after sometime. 3.I would advise using easy as well as tuff keywords mix up.You can change the title keywords after a considerable time. I think you should optimise for Google firstly. Target 1 keyword per page, include that keyword in the title, description AND H1 tag. Titles can be up to 12 words long, don't use superlative words, make every word count. Its a good idea to divide the title using pipes or greater than symbol, so that you don't need to create one long sentence i.e. Blue Suede Shoes > Designer Footwear > Ladies & Gents > Order Online > 50% Discount
Hi there, Answer1. All the search engines are important. Make your site "too good" for all the search engines. Like Google likes qualitative links whereas Yahoo and MSN like quantative links. So make the combination of qualitative and quantitative links..Hope u get my point Answer2. Its not about Easy OR Tough keywords. Its all about right and relevant keywords. Add fewer but justified keywords for your site. Answer3.Yes, put your title tags justified to your sites. The search engine spiders gives much more importance to these Title tags while indexing. Hope this helps
Just so you know, this is SEM. Start with google. Add a few high volume keywords with a few long tail terms (a total of 100-300). Run a blended model.
None, just concentrate on having a good coded, unique content rich website - you get a good response from all 3
Goofle is the standard As for seo Off page (backlinks) is like 85% or even more from SEO efforts Concentrate on the keyphrases that will bring you good traffic
If you have an aged domain (2+ years) optimize for Google and go ahead and target the bigger keywords. Google seems to give way to much emphasis to a domains age so if you have one use it and go long
No, it's not tuff. you can go ahead with it. You can take web designing los angeles("removed at"). After using this anchor text in some directories, articles, bookmarking sites - your SERPS listings will start improving. Before doing this, check out where your site is located currently in the google through this keyword. If you have not targetted this keyword before , no need to see where's your site is located. Thanks !
I have had the most success with Google. I would recommend you track your search engine referrals through AwStats or Google Analytics and if one keyword bring in say 20 visitors but you're on the second page of Google for that keyword then you can optimize for it and get 500 visitors from it.
