If I create a portfolio and register on guru.com, will that site help me in attracting prospective clients? Aside from e-lance and guru, are there any other sites that can help me get clients for free? I think, a lot of clients are for short term only and the work is always on a per project basis, is that right? Most of the clients even came from referrals and with a tight competition in the world wide web how do these clients notice me? Most likely, they will just have to avail the services of other foreign companies or a well-known BPO firm for their outsourcing needs than giving projects to a newbie right? Correct me if I'm wrong.
