Money is not a good motivator. Instead you can think of "how are you going to make the world a better place". This is nothing religious, it's just a matter of fact. Companies and businesses exist because they have a reason. "To make money" is not the fundamental thinking behind thrilling businesses. Providing value to others is where one should look, then the money will follow. Then start reading a lot! Read these forums. Post and ask questions. Find something you love to do and stick to it. Online business is not a way to make millions over night. It takes time and alot of hard work. You could have the most amazing website on the net but it takes time to get visitors and potential customers to view your website and to grab there attention. Maemae
I think that everyone who starts out (including myself) has intentions of making millions, or at least thousands, overnight. I mean it can't be that hard . . . Right? ? The sad truth is that; that mindset is why people fail. Online business is the same as any. You have to work hard, at the beginning earning less than minimum wage (if you are lucky) but carrying on anyway. Online business is the same as offline, in that you are never going to make money if your primary motivation is to, make money. The only reason you should get into any business is if you have an absolute passion for what you are doing. My advice: Find a topic/subject/niche that you are absolutely passionate about and then build a website about it. Write a few decent articles and post them on it and never stop. Fresh content is what makes people come back. If you don't know how to build good websites then hire someone to do it for you, it may be pricy, but it will be worth it in the long run. If you are not a good writer, hire someone to do it, just make sure you give them the general idea and know a lot about the topic to begin with.
