Hello i have created a website and i was wondering how i get a page rank.

What do i need to do to increase this well get at least a PR1

Yup get alot of links and also go to google webmaster tools

Put your site in there and play around with that stuff..
Itll help to and if you get enough links and all after a few months google will update its pr status and hopefully youll have your 1st pr1

lol but it wont help ya much.. to get visitors..
but having a high pr does give you a warm feeling inside anyway

 

Id be quite fussy about where your links come from as well, not all are equal, keep them on subject if you can.

 

To have a better PR, you must have a quality backlinks. Quality backlinks are links came from related site or good site. Joining forum is one way to get a quality backlinks especially if the forum have a good PR. Submitting to directory is also good but select only those have PR. Remember that PR is calculated in quality backlinks not in quantity of links.

Consider adding quality content and try to get good number of Inbound links.

I think TrustRank is more important than PageRank. Infact I have heard rumors of PageRank as we know it becoming obsolete.

IMO, you want to focus energy on becoming one of Google's favored sites.

There is a simple answer to this question

Obtain quality backlinks to your website from other sites which are ideally related in content and obviously indexed in Google. The page rank of the site/page linking to your site will also help develop your page rank. Concentrate on quality - not quantity.
