Yeah, there is a lot missing from search_style2.css. Try adding search_style.css from the China site, you might get it working. But when I compared both stylesheets with the help of this site, it showed a mess of other problems. http://gordianlabs.com/cssdiff/index.htm
Thanks, search_style.css is completely different layout really...I actually did the CSS myself many years ago...just a bit rusty and think why I should spend hours on it and give myself headaches when there's other people out there who know what they're doing... The link you gave is great btw...
