    Hi,
I'm planning to move my current database to a new domain. So in the new domain will the database files get indexed in google? Or only the new posts get indexed?

If I build a new sitemap and submit to the search engines, will that get my database posts indexed?

What am I supposed to do in this case?
Does this have any impact on my new site's SEO?

Please help me with your suggestions.

    Regards,
    CD

Eventually, in a perfect world you need to 301 the old domain to the new one. Read canonical's post here on how to do it. By moving things to a new domain you are effectively starting over otherwise.

    hope that helps,

Two sites with identical content? Even worse. One or other other will get dropped into a hole. Likely it will just be impossible to do anything substantive with it.

I was asked by a client last week to do the same thing. I refused to do it ;)

You can start transferring your website to new domain just add the no index robot txt file on it when its done then put 301 redirect on all pages of your website to your new site

It will affect your SERP not more than a month but you will gain that traffic after 2 months

use 301 redirect and remove duplicity.
