Hi there, I just apply for ebay affiliate.. and within second.. I'm rejected!! I'm from Malaysia and is this one of the factor? why are they rejecting me without even seeing my website? I believe they didn't see it because they reject me not even more than 1 min I applied, what happen??
That was happening to me, im from Brazil and whenever i tried to sign up under "Brazil" they rejected me, they auto-reject a lot of countries. You will have to sign up under another country, one that they accept. But because of that (signing up under a diferent country) you might have payment problems (they might not pay you when you reach your payout) because you will have to provide fake Tax numbers. Check this post i made and noone answered: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=869785 Its stupid, if the reject those countries why do they have them on the country list when you sign up
yeah, that's right, why shouldn't they just stated there the program is only for US and EU ? have you find other alternative devils_reject? I see other blogs saying you need to create alot of BANS site in order to get approve, but all of them is from US and EU.. I'm not really sure about whether can we put US address or not, however, ebay pays via paypal, it doesn't really effect me because I had paypal account, but my paypal account is non US base, I wonder if this can make them suspend me in future?
JP Sauve, have you got paid by bidz.com? i haven't heard of this auction side... anyone try this before?
I have been with ebay for years.......when they had CJ run the affiliate show, they rejected no one that was legit! Now that they are "in house" they are all messed up. It may be a while before many things get straightened out............Mike
You know that PepperJam has the eBay affiliate program ??? I use PJN's links instead of ePN's. The tracking and support are much superior.
Yes, try to sign up via PepperJam network and PLEASE let me know how it went for you. I am interested too.
Pepperjam is the tops in my opinion and the addition of the eBay program shows how innovative the network is for serious affiliates (although I do like Neverblue as well). I won't go into detail but let's just say I prefer to deal with eBay at arm's length which is why although I never would personally use their services ever again, *unless* there is a third party in between governing the interaction between my sites and their affiliate program. Plus, you all see, Kris (pepperjam founder) is right here on DP with us, ready to answer your questions. How cool is that? When's the last time you saw an Adsense employee (let alone the founder) dealing with us "one on one" in the public eye ???
