Here's an idea - study how to do affiliate marketing and be your own boss.

Harness other people's work and make bank.

It's easier said then done, but your hard work should bring some nice REWARD$

    :)

No such thing as online job. Only thing online is online entrepreneurship. You want to go make money? Go make a product that people will buy.

I made the transistion from office job to work at home or online job, and they are right you`ll never find a work at home oppportunity you want to do or pays well. What you can do is find a way to make affiliate programs profitable. Some people find products that they think they can just list through adwords and turn a profit, but clearly there is some risk to that. Other build websites and try to create content and search engine traffic. You just have to find what work for you. I wouldn't quit your day job until your making online what you would at your other job, because it does take some time to find your niche.

Look in the bst section and see what people are offering for directory submissions, link dropping, forum posting - it's not much, but if you think you can do those jobs quickly and well, you can pick up some work and get a reputation for being reliable.
The other option is to look for freelancer sites (or again, dp) if you have any experience in coding, article writing, or any other specific skill.

There are real online jobs, just few and far between. The less specialised you are, the harder they are to find too.

I have worked from home earning good money, I've worked as a freelancer from home, I've got a couple of websites where I am doing affiliate marketing.
