Help! I'm a newbie

    Hi Guys,

    I'm looking to create a site that is similar to FreeRice.com

    The problem is, I don't really know much about coding, programming...etc So I need some help.

    What would be the easiest/cheapest way to create a game like theirs?

    I really appreciate any help that you guys can provide!!!

    Let's see... the simplest way would be to have a page with a form generated with PHP that grabs words and definitions from a database. Then when the user submits the form, it check to see if they chose the right definition and gives them points accordingly.
    The slickest way would use AJAX... though I suppose that would be somewhat gratuitous in this case. But it would give it somewhat of a Flash-like feel.
    What exactly are you planning on doing?

    If you are a complete novice, learn the fundamentals first, there are alot of tutorials out there.

    There may be a script like that other there, however, it should not be that hard programming it.

    I am a marketer, not a programmer. I am looking to a hire a programmer for this task, so I need to know approximately what I am looking for.

    I don't believe this is a difficult task as well. Where can I get these scripts?
