My balance is over $1000 and I have never received payment from CJ before. I thought I was going to receive my first payment soon but I received this letter instead... What does it mean?

    Hi...

I'm totally new in this topic, even i'm not registered in CJ but maybe they want to investigate how do you promote your affiliate links to their products before making to you the first payment. I mean, maybe as this is your first payment, they want to be sure you are not taking any illegal procedure.

After they check this maybe you can continue your promoting without any problem and you will receive your payment periodically.

All of ways, i'd say to you, do not ignore that message, answer it with the true (if you are not doing any illegal) and i think you will be fine receiving the payments.

    Reinaldo.

They just want you to explain to them how you drive traffic to your sites or links being that this will be your first payment...the same thing happened to me and I did recieve my payment...if you have not violated their terms of service you shouldn't have anything to worry about...if you dont mind me asking how are you getting traffic?

Are you using Craigslist or any other site to place ads/links to drive traffic to your site(s)? Using Craigslist is a violation of CJ rules. CJ's terms state that users cannot place links to get traffic from any site that does not allow affiliate links. A lot of people say don't worry about those type of links, but CJ will eventually catch people who do that.

If you are doing that, kill those links immediately, CJ will ban your account for infractions like that.
