help, I have no clue with phpbb

I set up a second forum and need to get the ads running on phpbb.

First, how do I get to the templates to modify them?
second - I have my accound set up strictly under the subdomain of another forum (w w w.sportsoutlaw.com/forum). Will I need a second account? or just put the ads up and not worry about it?

I dont have the account under my main domain because I never could get the ads running on the html pages. I plan on converting the site to php later, but that is for another discussion, another time.

Yes, my problem is, unlike Vb I dont know whee to find the templates in phpBB. Its easy in Vb, and it is probably easy in phpBB, but I am probably just over looking it. I have been all over the admin areas trying to find it.

    How do I get to:
    includes/page_tail.php
    and
    overall_footer.tpl
    ?

phpbb templates are file, not stored in the database like vBulletin.

go to the templates folder, pick your template, and you'll find them there. the includes/page_tail.php is obviously in the includes folder. ;)

Blow the $85 and get vBulletin - why fool around with PHPbb?

I know, that is the better choice. I started this forum though so I could check out just exactly what phpBB had to offer, while at the same time, providing a way to direct all the political talk away from my football forum.

Now, I never did get any clarification if I had to create a new account since the accound I am registered at is www.sportsoutlaw.com/forum, and the ads I have just added are on www.sportsoutlaw.com/boards.

Am I getting credit for these ads now? I think I am, but just want to be sure.
