Help I Have A Spyware Virus!!!!

I am lucky to be online right now, and will probably be kicked off shortly!!

I have this spyware on my computer "AntiSpywareXP 2009"

Its ruining my computer.... I did a Google search for it and many people have had it

Its a fake spywareware blocker that ruins your computer, and then tries to make you purchase a fake spyware removal

I did a McAfee scan and it wouldnt work....

Any idea what I should do??

Would a reformat disk from HP return my comp to how I bought it????

 

Try HijackThis.

ComboFix helped me to remove my worst spyware. These programs require a third party to actually remove the spyware. So beware using them.

 

Try Spybot - Search & Destroy. It's good and for free.

Try to scan with AVG,if u have money,buy Kaspersky.

 

Or, you might want to try the SuperAntiSpyware, as it already helped me to remove many spyware...

 

Use AVG 8. It comes with anti spyware also. Its very effective. My system is working fine because of AVG only...

I had the same spyware on my computer, I think.

I used SUPERAntiSpyware Professional which removed the spyware without any problems.

 

well i used symentic anti virus, its old but it workd on my pC

it got antvirusXP2008

 

See the thing is.... it wont even let me download spyware, its so bad

I just downloaded "HiJack This" successfully.... but when I click to run the program, nothing happens

Any ideas on what I should do?

Would a restore disk really restore the comp to factory settings, and get rid of the spyware???

 

then simply spend some $$
and clean your hard drive thats what you can do if you really want to get rid of this problem

 

Hey guys, I wasnt able to download any of the programs you listed above.... when it came time to install, there was always an error --- this Spyware is very sophisticated, and is preventing me from downloading any anti-spyware

Does anyone else have any suggestions???

 

I think the best solution is to reformat your pc.

 

Wipe your HD.
