does anyone know how to play the texas holdem poker? i want to have the direct and simple guide for it. thanks a lot~~~~

 

Yeah, it's pretty simple once you get down to it.

It's much easier to explain if you actually play the game and go through it that way. But if you like I can lay out the structure for you (won't go into bluffing or any of that crap).

At the beginning of each play, ante (the specific initial bet) will be posted. After which, the players will be given two cards. Based on those, they will make two blind bets. It is called blind because no community cards are shown at this point. They can only rely on their two cards. And then the game starts.

When the blind bets are already posted, three community cards will be dealt face up. This is called “the flop”. Everyone can use those three cards to make a a poker hand. Each player can call, raise, check, all in or fold. This round will be started by the player on the dealer's left side.

When all bets are in, the dealer will again deal another card, which is called “the turn”. The pot will again raise based on the players bet.

Finally, the fifth card will be dealt face up. It is known as “the river”. It is the last card that will be drawn for the whole game.

To know who wins, the players will match their two cards with the community cards. They will try to make a combination that will give them the highest five-card hand. Sometimes, the only possible combination is all on the community cards but this rarely happens. But if it does, the pot will be split to the remaining players.

I went to visit my family and friends December 2008 in CT and MASS. Everyone is playing poker for money 20 to 30 dollars. They kept asking me to join them but I didn't know how to play poker. My brother always win usually collect around 200 to 400 dollars a night. He never looses at poker and I wish he still alive today due to cancer he is not here. I wanted to give my little brother money to play poker for me. Anyway, I start dowloading a computer game texas holdem from my t-mobile phone. Then I start playing Texas holdem on myspace starting with 100k chips. Today I'm a pro 50 mils and I enjoy playing on my time off and it can be addictive game. I wish I would never learned how to play because sometime I spend too much time playing. I'm looking forward to play with family and friends in CT and MASS. The secret to winning is start with small table and play with the rookies then keep going up to big table stop at 200k a fold. Big table 1 mil a fold is a waste of chips. Win big and loose small.
