My advice for what its worth Read jackburton2006 post above dont Join a link farm Join a link network of any kind Get down hearted Join any programme of any kind that states FRED EARNS OVER $4000 a day because he joined X,Y or Z do what I do and spend hours looking at my stats all day copy others content do post quality related articles get quality links from quality similar sites add regular freh ORIGINAL content come up with an originalish idea work your tits off creating content create a good internal link structure with Key words Jamie
Thanks - this one is valuable reply, i'd move it right next to my initial post as it makes sense; What I probably wanted to hear is that you have only 1 site; because if you say to stick with hobby which I have it really gives me solid expectations that it can be done from one site; 40$ is good $ to make from one, but if you have 100$ i wish you my best to go up and up
Thanks Jamie, Well, I don't have much content to copy so it's all good; About creating content - one of the things is I plan to have like 20 - 40 articles writen a month; how do you think how many pages actually is necesarry to do good? will this be fair amounth of pages in 3 month time to drive any significant traffic?
See if you can find a niche for those less competitive keywords. Then start building pages for those keywords. Learn everything you need to know from DP about SEO. This is critical. About 20-40 pages per month may not get you near $20/day in 3 months but you can learn alot from the experience. I suggest starting on 3 sites at one go. Once you get the hang of it, start more sites at one go. You'll stand a pretty good chance of getting that $20/day after 3 months. Good luck!
I'm going to try and do this!! I've set up a blog to record what i do... I have a site, its got no content, the site has a PR3, and i'm going to see if in 3months its making $20 a day. Cheers for the tips so far guys, and thanks for the challange SandisV!
I am maintaining adsense account of one site which is about 2 years old and getting traffic of 1300 a day. This site is getting $42 a day now. I have increased the amount from $8 a day (in first month) to $30 a day (last month). I have experiment adsense well. My suggestions are: (1) Increase traffic as much as you can. [most effective factor ] (2) Use google heat chart (3) Just mix up the google ads with webpage content [look and feel wise] (4) Put google ads on top portion of page (5) Do some mathematics and find out which format of ads is bringing more money and from which page, and apply the best combination. Rest, if you can do, try to change the keywords and use high rate keywords.

SEO'd for some very popular search terms. I actually stumbled into it by accident. I noticed in my logs i was getting hits from Google for a few particular terms - when i checked my SERPs for those terms, i was on page 10 or 20, but i started working on those keywords/phrases since they seemed to have a head start, and after about 30-45 days I was on page 1 in the SERPS.. 30 days after that, i'm number 1-5 on some of those search terms.. There are a few other 'secrets' that i have - i'm considering making an ebook with my "secret SEO sauce" and selling it for $5 - would anyone be interested? BTW, since school has let out, i'm down to only about 2,100-2,300 uniques per day.. and my earnings are down from my peak of $147/day to averaging $40-$75 day.. I guess i wont be quitting my day job as soon as i'd hoped, but i'm still very pleased to be making this much after only 5 months!
