This is going to happening inevitably if you run a live chat. Either learn to deal with people like that or disable the chat.
looks like somebody was doing timepass. What were you doing, entertaining him. You should have had closed the chat at the instance of first abuse. You said thank you to all that and now you want to teach him a leason. It would have been better if you didnot had that conversation with him.
Yes, there are people like that in the world. You know the ones that are kids, still act like kids ect. Like people are saying I would just ban their IP and be done.
Don't be sad. I too have faced some of my live chat that is rude. What i do is banned their IP so that they can't access my site anymore.
Thank you guys for your feedback. Well I agree that it was my mistake and I should have not entertained such a chat, but for now I have learned a good lesson. As regards to banning the IP address, well its a bit difficult because the IP address belongs to BSNL NIB which is dynamically allotted. So banning that IP will also ban other users in that range. The IP address was 59.95.71.189 and the geo location detected was Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. BTW, I just recalled that I know the ACP of the Cyber Crime Cell and I will be meeting him tomorrow. Lets see how far this guy has to run.
there's nothing you can do, just ignore them. Or tease them but dont use foul languages. when someone online is being rude, you could just spam them with tease messages and they will run away from you like flies away from the sun.
