What is the best way in doing this, so that eBay and Craig's List Users can try out www.junkegg.com It is a brand new site with the users just starting to generate slowly, as well as listings. It doesn't have the powerhouse volume as of yet of users and volume. This is the problem/concern that is haulting this success. Any tips would be great. Thanks.

Oh, Junkegg, I think what the posters are trying to tell you is that it's a loaded question. First, you'll find it very hard to compete with eBay and Craigslist. Too many have tried and failed. Secondly, if you need to learn how to market your site, which I think is your real quest, then read everything in this marketing board. Only a small percentage of websites actually "snowball" (your words) or go viral, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Just keep learning how to market it, work hard, be committed and be patient.
Target their forums but don't over promote yourself. Post multiple ads on Craigslist. Promote the site on social networks like facebook. That's a few for you.
