Help! High traffic Low Earnings

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by MyTubeDesign, Jul 6, 2010.

Hi guys, my site MyTubeDesign.com was launched in March and has been getting relatively good traffics like 3-4k/day, but I only earn a couple of bucks (5-10 cents/click). I'm all new to this SEO thing, someone told me that its because I have a tight niche?

I get the same ads on my home page all the time. Could someone please take a look at my site and tell me whether its the position or keywords etc? And is there a way to choose what kind of ads to appear? Thanks!

Low paying locations = low paying clicks. Simple.

What do you mean by "low paying locations"?

It's depending upon the theme, Suppose if you have a movie site then your ads should be related to movie then it will get max CPC ...while placing the ads choose the exact category.

You are right about the niche as well - it is a bit saturated. Don't let that discourage you though

Ad placement would be the key for you, and also mix it up with your own ads.

It's your ad choice and placement that is the problem. You should try adding text ads, maybe 468x60 (ad unit, not link unit) in the main body of your site (in between the layout thumbs).

Any niche where you can get a lot of traffic is one that pays very poorly with Adsense.
