Log In Information You have entered a log in name that already exists in our database. Please choose a new log in name. (admin) i literally tried alll the names that came to my mind it just wont take ...am like wtffffffffff my head is about to explode soon if i don't get over with this thing ... as i need to complete my domain registration in an hour..
IMHO, I don't recommend purchasing domains from godaddy. Why don't you choose hostgator. Purchasing domain and hosting from same site can save you from name server crisis.
hi lead this issue has nothing to do with name server crisis ..its about choosing login ID that people must choose while registering new domain name at godaddy. and im having problem choosing one as every name i type there its says its been taken or bla bla ..i just cant understand wtf is up with it ..
Changing nameservers is easy - and something anybody can learn in minutes. Whilst I agree that Godaddy domain names are expensive unless you use their offer vouchers, they have hundreds of resellers using their system with private branding. I disagree about using the same provider for hosting and domain registration. Any problems with hosting and it's usually difficult to change nameservers. Over the years I have had hosting problems with all my accounts at one time or another - but because I register ALL my domain names independantly, it's a simple process of pointing nameservers to a different hosting account and recreating content from backup data. Sometimes this has saved me losing lots of visitors and $ - for example when a site has gone down to a squeeze page I have paid $$$ for traffic from solo ads that gets sent at a particular time and date. For now, why not just forget about GoDaddy and register your chosen domain name somewhere else?
I can warmly recommend NameCheap for domains and Hostgator for hosting. I have NEVER had any problems, and the support is great and I agree with seafrontsteve, changing nameservers is really easy
