I have applied for several of the larfer affiliates and been rejected. After requesting they re-consider I have been asked the following:-

"How do you plan on promoting our offers,
and what are your main forms of traffic generation?
just need to know a little bit more about how you plan on promoting our offers."

I am totally new to this and would like to know the best answers to give to be accepted?

    Many thanks

This mean you are asked to show your plan how would you generate leads/sales for the network . each network is overcautious about traffic quality

You have been rejected for a reason: you would probably haven't a stablished website.

A large number of affiliate programs don't accept "under construction" or broken sites. Others take into account your pagerank, monthly traffic and if the site is already listed in major search engines.

Without any of this, it's obvious they ask further information on your plans, as said above.

I'd suggest you make a search on google with "How to get approved by CPA networks" etc, you will find your answer.

Do you always need to have a telephone conversation with them to get approved - is there a way around this??

Many networks are happy to talk over AIM, such as Peerfly, CPATank, Envyus Media, A4D, NDemand etc. :)

I think you should get Google analytics, it is free, so then you will know your statistics of visitors, unique visitor, etc.

Then based on that information you can apply to affiliated programs, because many of them require a really good amount of traffic in your website to be accepted.

So what are your main forms of traffic generation and how do you plan on promoting them?

Not all networks will ask for a telephone conversation. Most just want to know a little about your traffic.
