Try cleaning your computer, getting rid of all the programs you dont need, clean your catche, and your clipboard and your registry, do a scan disk and a virus scan. The more junk you have on your hard drive, the slower it runs.

My computer doesn't lag that much lol

What causes lag? Low RAM, low video card, slow processor, bad motherboard and VISTA :D

Yes, VISTA makes PC slower. I have upgraded my PC but I still don't use Vista because I don't need any style but speed!

Besides what other have said, which is true, do this:
Start > Run > Type: msconfig
Go to the startup tab, DESELECT all the problems you don't want starting up when you log in.
It makes a BIG difference! :)

Deleting the temporary internet files / clearing the cache will help to speed up the system apart from a high speed RAM. (1 GB and more)

Computer lag solely depends on the softwares you have installed. Just remove those softwares which load at start up (useless ones). Tell me which OS you are using. If you are using XP then I will tell you how to increase the start up speed. You can easily do it by going in registry editor. But first you have to tell that which OS are you using.

Yes there could be many reasons.
Try deleting temp files, Free your C: space, Don't run too many programs in your startup, if you have, use msconfig and unselect those programs, defrag your PC etc.

I hope this will work cuz it has worked for me :D
