    Can I copyright my site..
    I mean copyright of my site style so that no buddy won't be able to copy style of my site..
    Actually thats wht happened with many of my sisters site so i m scared abt that smbdy wud copy my site style sheet and luk....

    Unless you specify otherwise, most content you create falls under copyright protection. Meaning that you don't have to do anything to copyright it. However, the key word here is "content." There's really no way to copyright the design of a site, just the content.

    The keyword is content, but content means artwork as well as the text. A copyright exists for art as well as for words, so if your design is original enough and creative enough, it is theoretically possible that you COULD own a copyright in at least a portion of the design of a website. It is likely that a copyright would exist in only a particular element or elements of a design and not the entire website, though.
