Hi! I know I'm risking being shot down in a barrage of 'this is the worst web-site I've ever blah blah...' but, if it helps solve the problem, so be it!

I'm involved in organising and racing at a motor racing dirt track, and we NEED a web site, so I thought I'd give it a go using a free template and a little programme called Komposer. Anyways, I completed the site, and uploaded it onto some web space Ive had for years, as a 'test' before I looked for suitable permanent URL/hosting. Im a mac user, and it looks fine in safari...but in IE, the header and horizontal menu are mis-aligned to the left (should be centre) and theres an unwanted gap between them. PLEASE help me fix it!!

    Heres the temporary URL:
    http://www.geocities.com/rob_bennett02/index.html
and heres a screen grab from camino showing how it should look:

Also one from IE showing the alignment problem

I know they show two different pages in the site, but the prob is universal.
If anyone is willing to help, please bear in mind I'm very much a novice!
    ta!
