Help! Google removed all my rankings!

My site has been ranking in top 10 Google results for almost a year and for many different search terms related to my site. Within the last week Google has completely dumped all of my rankings from like the top 10 to page 50. The site is still indexed, however.

What would cause them to do this? I haven't done anything as far as black hat SEO, etc. or anything different than what I've been doing all year as far as typical SEO tactics such as submitting to directories, etc.

I would love to hear your input!

There are many different reasons why Google drops ones rankings. Maybe a doublicate content on your site (like http://something.com/ http://something.com/index.html <-- doublicate content!!!), maybe someone else has done some black hat seo to your site...a link from a porn site or something. Do you have same description on every site? Where are YOU linking from your site? Is there a SE trap on your Error page? And many many more...

it could just be temporary since google is always updating it likes to dance around a lot, try to check it out in a week to see if your results come back to normal

Same here mine whenever I do a link:mywebesite i never get any links again but I checked the site:mywebsite I get some links which means google still indexed my sites..

My site was raking 1st before for certain Keyword, now whenever I search for that keyword I never find my site listed in the PR.

What is going on , is my site being sandboxed? How will I know I am being sandboxed ?

I'm really hoping this is a temporary thing. I just can't see how roughly 20 top 10 rankings can go completely down the tubes literally overnight and I haven't changed a thing.

I also experience this kind of thing, all of my number 1 keywords drop down to search results. But after several days, they return to their top positions. This kind of dance is just normal to search engines especially the big G. Competition could be the primary reason for this. :D

Some times we do not know the reason why Google dropped our site from ranking. May be it is temporary dropping. It may be affect of Google dancing.

I think it is temporary dropping, you can continue SEM, then it comes results.
