    hi Guys,

Can you guys help me understand how to use Google's new Tool for disavowing links. And how to make a file for disavowing some links.
Our website is nlpcoaching.com. last week I received an email in our google webmaster tool.

"The email says. that Google has detected that some of our site's pages may be using techniques that are outside Google's Webmaster Guidelines.
Specifically, look for possibly artificial or unnatural links pointing to your site that could be intended to manipulate PageRank. Examples of unnatural linking could include buying links to pass PageRank or participating in link schemes."

I think it must be the same website that I've been having problems in months now.

    Hi,

Based on my findings and articles I have read I understand that it is not needed to use this tool until and unless you are sure of how this works. This may make your links worse, so if you are not sure and do not understand the whole thing then better leave it without using. It is really

Check here http://www.seroundtable.com/google-disavow-link-tool-15848.html and see through the Q & A, you will get an idea.

    Hope this helps.

don't use it right away.... there are situations in which to use it..

    Check out: backlinkreport.net/issues-with-google-disavow-tool.html

I recommend using it only after attempting to have the link manually removed by contacting the webmaster... and also in this case, only if the link is a poor quality spam link or some weird link causing you problems... I've been using backlinkreport.net to identify these links

I'd advice you to choose the disavow tool only if you're sure enough about the presence of back links on some penalized and low quality sites. Since its a non-reversible process, so if you have declared some quality links as spam in disavow tool, it will affect you adversely and eventually will affect your ranking and PR.
