Help! Google Adsense in Joomla

I just started a new website . I'm still new with this Joomla CMS thing and still playing around with the CMS.

Can somebody tell me how to put Google Adsense in Joomla?

I want to use the big rectangle into the middle column and I just can't figure out how to add the adsense javascript codes into the content.

Three options:

1. Either add the code directly into the content your are writing.
2. Create a module and define where the position should be
3. The easiest one, go to Joomla.org under extensions, search for Google as sense, and download the module.

 

There is a plugin that adds adsense on joomla content, you can exlude categories or define positions, there are modules too. I can't paste a link here but try on extensions.joomla.org under Adds & Affiliates -> Google Ads

there are very good plugins in joomla for adsense .. clicksafe version as mentioned by abercrombie is one of the best plugins and you can use them for adding the adsense codes
