Help Getting Started

Hello everyone I have been viewing this site for some time but just recently joined before writing this to pose my question and plan to continue to post on this site. I have a full site that I started with some friends that is fairly popular called Back Stage Graphics at http://www.backstagegfx.com (not trying to spam). I had adsense on it in the beginning when we were small and some member clicked everyday thinking it would get the site money...but all it did was get me banned from adsense. The site is great and I spend time on it but I need to start getting an income somehow so we can award better prizes for competitions and things like that so I figured I would try to make a blog with some people and put adsense on it in the hopes of making 10$ a day with quality posts. I was going to make it a web design/graphics blog since that is what I know the most but I know with adsense the niche you choose if very important, so what I'm asking is what should I do to set all this up correctly and get on my way to making money with the only thing up to me to do is to start making quality content on the site and promote it. I.E. wordpress is ok? What is a good paying niche that isn't terribly hard to start up? Any tips or tricks for getting the site off the ground.

Any information would be appreciated as I know some great adsense publishers visit here.

A good paying niche is one you know most about, Google likes people who know everything about there topic.

Yeah but I can always learn knew topics if they interest me enough and there is money to be made it would be worth it for me to do a lot of research.

 

Just make some good & keyword rich website or blog.

Create too many links & you have done.

 

well pick some and do it, if it doesn't work do something else.

I agree, try something and if you fail, pick yourself up and try again,

I have failed many many times but that just makes me learn more.

Trust me overplanning is something I really don't want to do since it just results in wasted time, I will probably do graphics/wed design but I'm just wondering if there is anything that someone starting a blog up might not think about doing that will help in the long run once I implement adsense when we get some good content on the site.
