    Hi,

I'm trying out geo-targeting in my campaigns for locations to appear at the bottom of my ads eg:

    Financial Planner
    No Commissions. Flat Fee Financial
    Planning. First Meeting Free. CBD.
    www.yourwebsite.com.au
    New South Wales

    www.yourwebsite.com.au
    Sydney, NSW

I was wondering what happens if you custom set your geo-targeting to for example "50km around Sydney", would it still show up as "Sydney, NSW"?

    thanks!

Where you want to put the location in the ad?

You can put it at the Headline, Description line 1 and Description line 2.
Putting the location in the ad can sometimes increase CTR test it out.
I don't think that it can appear at the bottom of the ad.

Geo-targeting just determines to which users the ad will be displayed/served.

No, in another thread I was told that when a campaign geotargets, the locations appear at as an extra line in ur ad.

my query was just does it also include giving specific dimensions.

You can try to test it out.
Use the adpreview tool in your adwords account. Use coordinates there
