Hi, I joined today this forum as I want to construct my own website and have some revenue from Adsense. But since internet is such a big source of information, it's driving me nuts. Everything sems to be saturated. I already got the ideia that I have to find a niche that is not saturated, right? But at the same time I have to enjoy what the website is about so I can work on it every day by soul! And can't I make a website wich a saturated niche? where to find the best/cheapest web hosting? How can I brainstorm myself to find a good niche. I not only want to earn cash from adsense, but grow in the my "future" niche area!

One last question? I thought about constructing a forum once people keep going there... will it have a good adsense earning? What are your experiences from you and others?

    Regards, Marco! :)

PS:looking for you to share your experiences!

    Dont' do it.

Just go to college and work for some Fortune 500 company and drive an SUV.

    :D

Seriously, you are right. The internet is saturated in amany ways, but it can be improved in even more ways. It's very hard to make a great site, get visitors there, and create the kind of stuff that people actually want to see. In my opinion, articles are not enough. Most people don't read a lot of articles. You need "stuff" that people actually want to use.

Will you make a lot of money? That depends.

I started a site last October that I've spent about $500 and I'm making about $1 per day on adense. I had huge ideas for the site, but I must admit that it's been very tough balancing between keeping the forum going (with my posts) and providing the video and audio that I had orginally planned to create (and still haven't been able to do).

There are definite ways to make a lot of money (and I have sites that have made quite a bit of money) but those weren't sites that I was interested in. Those sites filled a need.

Only you can figure this out.

For cheap hosting, I like icdsoft.com. They've always taken care of me.

marco, you are right. to be successful you need to build a niche you are passionate about, only hten you will have to drive and determination to maintain your site.

for me that means i can only build two sites, since there are really only two topics i am really knowledgable about. no point trying to build sites for high-paying keywords when you know nuts about them.

you have to ask yourself, "what topic interests me?" if you cannot find an immediate answer to that, perhaps long-term adsense is not for you. or, if you have the time and determination, you can learn up everything you can about a subject in, say, two months THEN you build a site on that.

A few things to note. Your interests will change or expand. You may want to choose a domain name that will allow you to expand into other things. You have to put some thought into this, but consider expansion as well.
