Anyone can suggest a site to dmoz and you dont need to pay any money. I dont understand about writing and submitting an article, as dmoz only look at websites, not articles, so perhaps you are confused with another directory.

    Cheers :)

There is people accepting money for suggesting a site to DMOZ. There are editors accepting money for listing your site right away, in scriptlance for example. In my personal opinion it's not worth. If you know how, suggest the site by yourself. I you don't, walk away from DMOZ.

I can't believe that ppl are accepting money for getting listed in DMOZ. Do have any evidence? How much they are asking to get listed in DMOZ?

You may also be getting scammed by a person claiming to be an editor when they actually arent. :)

In which case you will loose your money and if you are caught trying to bribe an editor your site will be banned forever. So if you are desperate for a listing why would you want to risk either of those things. Believe that every edit that an editor performs is recorded against their name. So the over 30,000 editing transactions I have performed are all still associated with me and can be checked by any other editor.

Are you quietly suggesting you are a editor on dmoz ? LOL -- just joking !!

The best way to get listed on dmoz is to work on your website - make it worth viewing / reading / re-visiting and then submit to dmoz - websites with user value will get listed sooner or later.

Which bit of the guidelines about not submitting more than once did you not get? If you tried many times, ever considered that you could have been banned for spamming? There is never a need to submit more than once - doing so only hurts your chances of getting listed
