Hi, Firefox is giving me grief again. Suddenly, without any involvement from my side, it has decided I'm American. My search bar (the one located on the right from the address bar) has always been set to return results from Google.co.uk Guess what is happening now? It just sticks gl=US at the end of every query I'm making via the search bar and obviously it displays U.S. results. Last week everything was ok, then on Monday this happened... Can you, FF gurus, please tell me where on my Hard Disk sits the utility that is responsible for the search bar. I hope I might be able to open it with my text editor and delete that gl=US bit. Thanks.
Step 1: Open Firefox > open website (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-uk-the-web/) > Click Add To Firefox Step 2: Go back to Firefox > click on the Search Engine logo on the search bar > Click "Manage Search Engines" > Choose Google UK > Move it up on the top spot > Click OK And.... you're done. Try closing and opening your Firefox, you're search bar would now be on Google UK as default.
